Thomas Fitzgerald
Thomas Fitzgerald, 87 years old, well known gardener and greenhouse man, of Beaver, died at 3:15 o'clock this morning from infirmities of old age in Providence hospital. He had been ill an extended period.
He leaves three sons, Edward L., of Erie; John of Erie and James F. Fitzgerald of Columbus, O. His son, Thomas M. Fitzgerald, owner of the Fitzgerald greenhouses in Beaver, died some years ago.
Mr. Fitzgerald was born in County Kerry, Ireland, but had lived in Beaver 20 years. He was recognized as an expert in his line of work. He was at home in the cultivation of shrubbery. Some years ago he was emplyed to put the shrubbery of the Beaver parks in shape, and was frequently called upon in the arrangement of private yards.

Mrs. Mary Haley Fitzgerald
Mrs. Mary Haley [sic] Fitzgerald, wife of Thomas M. Fitzgerald, Sr., is dead at her home, 716 Sixth street, Beaver, having succumbed at 3:30 o'clock this morning to heart trouble, from which she had been suffering for the past several weeks. She had lived in Beaver for the past 15 years and was one of the older residents.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Ireland and came to this country while very young. Following her marriage to Thomas M. Fitzgerald, the couple moved to Pittsburg taking up their residence there shortly after the close of the civil war. They came to Beaver 15 years ago and had since resided there.
She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul R.C. church of Beaver and was active in church work up until the time of her death. She leaves her husband and four sons, John E. and James S., both of Pittsburg; Edward L., of Erie, Pa., and Thomas M. Jr., of Beaver. The latter is proprietor of the Fitzgerald green houses, located in the county seat.
Funeral services at the home of her son, Thomas M. Fitzgerald, Jr., 964 Sixth street, Monday morning, Solemn requiem high mass will be observed at SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic church, ant 8 o'clock. The body will be taken to Pittsburg over the Pittsburg and Lake Erie railroad at 9:14 o'clock and interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
